A social networking site, VOISS APP, created by Cloudshot for the purposes of easing learning, communication amongst peers and better information dissemination in the University, is live now on the Internet.
According to the information on its website, VOISS APP was created for students all over Nigeria. However, ‘Institutions slot’ has OAU as the only institution of choice
The site has an Sms platform that notifies users of activities while offline. It allows students share media and documents also.
“Students can post gists for everyone to view, comment on posts, be closer to their classmates by viewing and commenting on posts of their classmates and class representatives, view and comment on campus news.”

"VOISS will be launching soon and will be released to the entire public next week, when the android app will be ready for download and also when some features like notifications and private messaging (holla) are added to the website. The publicity commences after this through Class representatives and lecturers", said Kelvin Umechukwu, Team lead for Cloudshot Inc.
